The Kannada Film Industry actors Shivanna, Puneeth, Yash and many more held a meeting with the state Kannada and Culture Minister C T Ravi over package to film fraternity and re-opening of theatres.
On Wednesday, The KFI team led by actor Dr Shivarajkumar had a discussion at his residence with the Minister C T Ravi and requested to release package to Kannada cinema industry and television industry. Also to reopen theatres by revised price and expemt on tax.
The Kannada and Culture Minister C T Ravi in a tweet stated, At a meeting held today at the residence of actor Shivarajkumar, workers in the television and film industry have appealed for package and cinema revival. At the same time, there has been talk of opening of movie theaters and fixing a price and on tax exemption.
He added, I have promised to discuss this with the Chief Minister. At this meeting were actors V Ravichandran, producers Srikanth, Yash, Upendra, Rakshit Shetty, Ganesh, Puneeth Rajkumar, Ramesh Aravind, Sri Muralii and Duniya Vijay were present.
Shivanna takes the leadership for film fraternity
Earlier Actor Shivarajkumar had held a meeting with Kannada film industry directors, producers and distributors on Friday at his residence to find out the hardships faced by the film industry and the difficulties faced by the workers for not filming.
