12th Bengaluru International Film Festival was inaugrated on Wednesday in Kanteerava Stadium. KGF Star Yash as one of the chief guests at the event with CM BSY, spoke about need of film studio.
Speaking to public, Rocking Star Yash who is popular in Sandalwood for giving many hit movies had to say this. Check the above video to know what he said about Kannadigas and Kannada movies.
Also he requested the Karnataka CM B S Yeddyurappa for a quick intiation of film city in Bengaluru.
The event began with 30 minute Medley of Kannada Film Songs on Rain and Farmers by Karnataka Television Artistes Association.
An hour-long Dance Performances by 200 artistes of Samanvaya Dance Company on Hindi and other Southern languages caught the attention of the audience. This included Bharata Natyam, Kuchipudi, Odissi and many facets of Karnataka folklore.
Then, a 10-munute Audio Visual Presentation by BIFFES on the versatile stars of the Sandal Wood Industry. After that BIFFES Animation Films were displayed.
Now, Karnataka Chief Minister Mr B S Yeddyurappa, Eminent Actress Jaya Pradha, Noted Producer Boney Kapoor, Rocking Star Yash, Chairman of the Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy Sunil Puranik, Secretary to Government in the Department of Information and Public Relations Captain P Manivannan.
Also had as guests were Commissioner of the Department of Information and Public Relations S N Siddaramappa, Musical Maestro Sonu Nigam, Budding Actress Aditi Prabhudeva appear on stage.
