After the triumph of his recent hit, Bachelor Party, actor Diganth Manchale once again illuminates the film industry with a sneak peek of his newest project, Marigold.

Diganth showcases an unprecedented persona in the teaser, embodying a furious protagonist determined to seize his fortune. Fans are pleasantly surprised by the teaser’s impactful lines, Diganth’s rugged demeanor, and his performance.

This high-energy suspense comedy, unfolding amidst the world of illicit gold trade, marks the debut collaboration between Diganth and newcomer director Raghavendra M Naik. Naik, with a background in corporate filmmaking and apprenticeship in numerous Kannada films, takes the helm as director for the first time.

Sharing the screen with Diganth is Sangeetha Sringeri, known for her stint on the recent season of Kannada Bigg Boss. The ensemble cast includes Bala Rajwadi, Cockroach Sudhi, Sampath Maithreya, Yash Shetty, and Vajrang Shetty in pivotal roles.

The teaser boldly alludes to current affairs, subtly mentioning figures like Café Coffee Day’s founder Siddartha and Kingfisher Airlines’ Vijay Mallya. Renowned dialogue craftsman Raghu Niduvalli, celebrated for his work on Bell Bottom, contributes his expertise to Marigold, earning acclaim post-teaser release.

Chandrashekar, acclaimed for his cinematography in films like Moggina Manasu, Paddehuli, and Chakravarthy, handles the visuals, while Veer Samarth provides the musical backdrop. Raghuvardhan, director of Prem’s Gunavantha, takes on a new role as producer for Golden Petals.

“The film has exceeded our expectations. Despite the delay in release, our team is ecstatic about the outcome,” stated the producer.

Director Naik unveiled that the storyline revolves around four young individuals initially promoting ‘Marigold cookies’ but inadvertently getting embroiled in a gold-smuggling racket. He affirmed Diganth’s remarkable transformation for this gripping role.

The trailer hints at Diganth’s departure from his traditional ‘doodhpeda’ image in Sandalwood, signaling an imminent shift towards action-packed excitement on screen.
