The third song from the highly anticipated film Maryade Prashne, titled “Pirako Maar”, is now out. While many films aim for hit songs, the Maryade Prashne team has delivered a “hit-back” rap song. Written and performed by Dakhini rapper Pashabhai, the song is composed in a hip-hop style by music director Arjun Ramu, who had previously created melodic and folk-style tracks for the film.
Speaking about the song, Arjun Ramu said, “The film needed a song that portrayed middle-class aggression. Collaborating with Pashabhai, we created this rap. With classy beats and a powerful mass BGM, we’re confident this song will resonate with everyone.”
The two and half minute promo video features the film’s leads – Sunil Rao, Rakesh Adiga, and Poornachandra Mysuru – and highlights the resilience of middle class youth. The song is now available on the Sakkath Studio YouTube channel.
The cast of Maryade Prashne includes Teju Belawadi, Sunil Rao, Poornachandra Mysuru, Rakesh Adiga, Shine Shetty, and Prabhu Mundkur. Veteran actors like Nagabharana, Prakash Tumbinadu, Nandagopal, Nagendra Sha, Rekha Kundligi, Shravan, and Hariharan also play key roles.
The film has five songs, all composed by Arjun Ramu, with lyrics by Pramod Maravante and Trilok Trivikram. Sandeep Velluri, who has previously worked on Gowli and Charlie, is the cinematographer. The trailer is set to release on November 12.
Produced by Sakkath Studio, led by RJ Pradeepa, who previously gained attention with web series Loose Connection and Honeymoon, the film’s story is written by Pradeepa himself, with screenplay, dialogues, and direction by Nagaraj Somayaji. Maryade Prashne is scheduled to release in theaters on November 22.
