The cremation of Chiranjeevi Sarja was performed at his brother Dhruva’s farmhouse at 5 Pm on the Kanakapura road.
Huge crowd came in to bid goodbye to the star actor, amid the lockdown it was his closed family and friends part of the final rites.
Last rites of Chiranjeevi Sarja were performed and his body was buried at 5 Pm at their ‘Brundavan’ farm house on Kanakapura Road in the presence of family and friends. Chiranjeevi’s final journey was telecasted live on all television channels and all his fans witnessed it.
The family was of the opinion that the last rites be performed at their native place in Tumakuru district. Later it was decided to cremate in Dhruva Sarja‘s farm house.
This farmhouse land was purchased by the Dhruva three years ago and this was one of the favourite places of relaxation for the Chiranjeevi Sarja which made the family cremate him in this place.
Actor Chiranjeevi Sarja suffered a massive heart attack on Sunday noon, 7 June. He breathed his last at the Apollo Hospital in Jayanagar. His body was kept for the public homage at their residence in Basavangudi after the medical examination.
Thousands of his fans paid their homage to the actor and the whole of Sandalwood took the glimpse of the deceased before his body was shifted to the farmhouse.
Meghana Raj stayed alongside Chiranjeevi Sarja
Wife Meghana is in her second trimester in her pregnancy and they had planned on revealing the news to all, As they were waiting for Meghana to complete the initial few months. This came as a shocker to the entire family and Meghana brokedown several times at the time of cremation.
All the rituals where taken care by his brother Dhruva Sarja, uncle Arjuna Sarja, in-laws Sundar Raj and Pramila Joshi, his close friends and well-wishers were present at the farmhouse where he is laid to rest.

Several actors like Shivaraj Kumar, Raghavendra Rajkumar, Puneeth Rajkumar, Yash, Upendra, Sudeep, Darshan, Ganesh, Prajwal Devaraj, Sadhu Kokila, Chethan, Tara, Sudharani, Rockline Venkatesh, Munirathna, Gurukiran and plenty of celebrities were spotted at his Basavangudi residence to pay their tribute.
