The first big star of Sandalwood actor Shivarajkumar has come out to extend his support to farmers. The ongoing protest of the farmers against the Government of India’s new agriculture bill gets support from all industries.
A huge debate is being held about the peasant protest across the nation. While Actor Chetan had supported the farmers’ protest. In addition, the actor had questioned why no other stars are talking about the farmers protest.
Now one of the top Kannada star actor has supported the farmers’ protest.
In a tweet actor Shiva Rajkumar has stated, Farmers are the backbone of our country, this country will exist, only if farmers survive, I will always be with them in their hard time. I support their view.”
The Bharat Bandh has been called for a revise of the central government’s new agriculture laws. Against this backdrop, Bharat bandh is being held and farmers are protesting against the Modi government across the country in opposition to the new laws. Protesters are demanding for the withdrawal of the law.
The protests have been going on for the past thirteen days and the five meetings that have been held so far have failed. More than 40 peasant organization leaders have demanded the withdrawal of three acts at the meeting.
But the central government has only withdrawn the act and only agreed to some modification.
