In a proud and promising move, Rocking Star Yash’s mother, Pushpa Arun Kumar, has stepped into the world of film production with the launch of her new banner, PA Productions producing a movie titled Kothalavadi. The name stands as a tribute to her and her husband, Arun Kumar, combining their initials to form the title of the production house.
Marking the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, PA Productions unveiled the title and first look of its maiden venture, Kothalavadi. The film is helmed by debutant director Sriraj, who has previously worked under seasoned filmmakers KV Raju and Ravi Srivatsa.
Prithvi Amber, one of Kannada cinema’s promising young actors, leads the film in a dramatic new avatar. Known for his romantic roles, Prithvi transforms into a rugged, action-packed character in Kothalavadi. Starring opposite him is popular television actress Kavya Shaiva. The cast also features veterans Gopalakrishna Deshpande and Rajesh Nataranga, adding depth and experience to the project.
PA Productions aims to be a platform for emerging talent. Staying true to that vision, the film boasts several fresh faces behind the scenes. Abhinandan Kashyap composes the background score, Sagar handles action direction, Karthik S is in charge of cinematography, and Ramisetty Pawan takes on editing responsibilities. The music is composed by Vikas Vasishtha, with lyrics penned by Dr. V. Nagendra Prasad, Kinnal Raj, Pramod Maravante, and Ghouse Peer.
Set against a rustic village backdrop, Kothalavadi promises to be a gripping rural action drama with a fresh voice and powerful performances.
