Hot on the heels of their much-anticipated film Ekka, the powerhouse trio—PRK Productions (led by Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar), KRG Studios (Karthik Gowda and Yogi G Raj), and Jayanna Films (Jayanna and Bhoganna)—have announced another exciting collaboration. This time, the focus shifts to a high-profile project featuring Yuva Rajkumar and directed by the acclaimed Sukka Suri.
The film was officially launched with a simple yet auspicious muhurat ceremony on Akshaya Tritiya at the Subrahmanya Temple in Bangalore. The event was graced by Sandalwood personalities, including Duniya Vijay, who gave the ceremonial clap. Adding a heartfelt touch, Vandita Puneeth Rajkumar, daughter of the late Puneeth Rajkumar, operated the camera for the first shot. The launch was attended by members of the Rajkumar family, Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar, Karthik Gowda, Yogi G Raj, and director Suri.
Known for his gritty, raw storytelling style, Suri’s pairing with Yuva Rajkumar has generated tremendous buzz. Adding to the excitement, Rithanya Vijaykumar, daughter of Duniya Vijay, will play the female lead. This marks her second film after debuting alongside her father in Land Lord, while this will be Yuva’s third outing as a lead.
The film boasts a solid technical team: Deepu S Kumar (editing), Charan Raj (music), Santosh (art direction), and Shekhar (cinematography). Filming is set to commence by the end of May, with plans for a grand-scale production.
Meanwhile, their joint venture Ekka, directed by Rohit Padaki, is nearing completion and is scheduled for release in June. With its teaser and title track already winning hearts, the production houses are on a roll, promising back-to-back blockbusters.
