Renowned actor, director, producer Anurag Kashyap enters Sandalwood through “8”

Anurag Kashyap, a well known actor, director and producer has entered Sandalwood through a sports drama titled “8”. This movie is directed by Sujay Shastry and produced by Arvind Venkatesh Reddy under the banner of AVR Entertainment.

Anurag Kashyap being known for his versatile film making has created a benchmark in Bollywood and now has turned towards the Kannada film Industry.

“8” is a sports drama directed by well known actor Sujay Shastry. The film team has launched the title in a very innovative way which has added to the speculation of the audience. Anurag Kashyap stepping into Kannada cinema itself is a matter of pride and the innovative launch of the title is just the icing on the cake.

Another special factor is that Arvind Venkatesh Reddy is funding this film under the banner of AVR Entertainment. Team AVR and Arvind with the blessings of his parents Sri H Venkatesh Reddy and Smt Bhagyalakshmi have launched this production with a bang. Arvind being known for his mark and style as a producer steps into KFI through this film which has thus made it more special. As of now, the production house has announced two major films: “8” directed by Sujay Shastry and “Richie Rich” directed by Simple Suni.

“8” is a sports drama written and directed by renowned actor Sujay Shastry who is known for his roles in”Bell Bottom” ,”Gubbi Mele Brahmastra”, “Shakhahari” and other films. The plot has been given by Sujay James Balu. The film stars Anurag Kashyap in the lead and other cast details are yet to be revealed by the team.

Hemanth Jois has composed music for the film. Mrugashira Shrikanth has penned the dialogues, Guruprasad Narnad dons the cap of DOP and Pratheek Shetty is the editor. The film is produced by Arvind Venkatesh Reddy under the banner of AVR Entertainment.
