He said, The movie Sapta Sagaradaache Yello would see a release on the last Friday of December, just like my other films Kirik Party and Avane Srimannarayana.
The shooting will be held in Bangalore, Mangalore and Shimoga. I lost about 10kg for the role in the first half of the movie. I need to lose four to five kilos more. The latter character needs to be bold. After loosing weight and looking thin, I took my beard off and laughed at myself for looking bad. So i had gained more than four kilos of weight again, Rakshit said.
Charlie is set to hit the screens in the first week of September and will be dubbed in all the languages of South India including Hindi. But Sapta Sagaradaache Yello will be released only in Kannada, says Rakshit.
Kirk Party-2 next year?
The script of Kirk Party-2 is being prepared and shooting for the same is expected to be completed this year. Next year the movie will be coming on big screen.
The same characters from the film, including Karna, will be reappearing, this will be a story of their life after college. The film will be directed by Rishab Shetty and only the heroines will be replaced. I am currently writing Punyakoti story. Rakshit said, “We all are sitting down every Sunday and write the Kirik Party-2 screenplay.”
I take time to make movies. I have done three movies in the last four years. There are 4-5 new movies that are in front of me. Only then I can give time to other directors. They go on to say that it will be four years for me to complete a cinema. We need time to complete the story that is within us, he said.
