Great news for movie buffs! Daali Dhananjaya’s new film Kotee has just been announced, Directed by the acclaimed Param, known for his groundbreaking work in Kannada television. Drawing from his extensive experience in presenting Kannada stories on Colors Kannada channel, Param brings forth a cinematic narrative rich in Kannada essence.

On the auspicious day of Ugadi festival today, the much-awaited title and poster of the movie Kotee has been unveiled. The makers unveils the Kotee title creatively: the letters are formed by folded ₹500 notes, adding an interesting visual element with Daali Dhananjaya’s captivating eyes, hinting at the intensity and depth of the plot.

The title suggests that Kotee revolves around an everyday person with a million dreams. Dhananjaya has already hinted that this film might delve into the emotions of an ordinary man striving for his dreams. With Dhananjaya’s comeback to Kannada cinema after a gap of one year since his last outing Hoysala, Kotee is set to make waves, possibly marking a big moment in his career, all while carrying his beastly title Nataraakshasa (monster of acting).

Param himself has penned the story, screenplay, and dialogues for this film, fulfilling his dream of directing a movie. It may be recalled here that when he came out of television channel last year, his ambition was to bring stories to life on the big screen.

Jyoti Deshpande of Jio Studios is producing this movie, who have already tasted success in Hindi cinema, and now into Kannada with this venture. Vasuki Vaibhav tunes the songs while Nobin Paul composes the background music for Kotee, and has Arun Brahma handling the cinematography. Now that the movie title’s out, the team announced they’re dropping the teaser on April 13.
