Senior music director Rajan (87), who composed music for many languages ​​including Kannada, passed away on Thursday night. They were popularly known as Rajan-Nagendra fame, as a duo.

The Music Composer Rajan died at his residence around 10.30 pm on Sunday night after suffering a stomach ailment.

The legendary Music Director Rajan, originally from Mysore, was based in Bangalore. His brother Nagendra was directing the music. Rajan Nagendra was famous as a duo in Kannada cinema. From the 1950s to the early 1990s, he delivered some of the most successful songs in Kannada cinema.

He has directed more than 375 movies in various languages ​​including Kannada, Telugu and Tulu, including over 200 Kannada films. Rajan is best known for his melodic songs and has given many hits. He has also served in the film industry for many years.

The ‘Akashadinda Deregilida Rambe’, ‘Akashave Bilali Mele’, ‘Yendendu Ninanu Marethu’, Tarikere Yeri Mele’ has given several hit songs.
