KRG Studios, a popular production house of Kannada film industry, has announced that they will jointly produce the film in collaboration with TVF Motion Pictures. As the first step, the first film jointly produced by both these organizations, titled ‘Powder’ started on the occasion of Varamahalakshmi festival.
The Muhurat ceremony of the film “Powder” was held at the festival of Varamahalakshmi and Kichcha Sudeep clapped for the first scene of the film. Producer Karthik Gowda’s father Ramakrishna Gowda switches on the camera. Dhananjaya, Santhosh Anandram, Rohit Padaki, Dheeren Ramkumar, Naveen Shankar, K Manju, Bhumi Shetty, Nagabhushan, TVF founder Arunabh Kumar, Vijay Koshy, Chaitanya Kumbakonam etc were present on this occasion.
“Powder” is a comedy movie about a small town youth who gets a large amount of cocaine. On one side is a group of villains in search of that cocaine. On the other hand, there is a group of young people who want to get rich by selling cocaine. On the other side is a mastermind trying to establish his dominance. Who will win this snake and ladder game? An attempt is being made in this film to tell that in an entertaining way.
Directed by Janardhan Chikkanna, this multi-starrer film stars Diganth, Dhanya Ramkumar, Sharmila Mandre, Anirudh Acharya, Rangayana Raghu, Achyut Kumar, Ravi Shankar Gowda, etc. The films music is composed by award-winning music director Sean Roldan. Written by Deepak Venkatesan, the film has cinematography by Shanti Sagar.
“Powder” is the first film jointly produced by our KRG Studios and TVF. The shooting of this multi-starrer will begin in September. Karthik Gowda of KRG Studios said that the film will release on April 5, 2024.
TVF’s Arunabh Kumar expressed his happiness that the film is being produced in association with KRG Studios. Director Janardhan Chikkanna said that this story of the comedy genre will appeal to everyone. Actor Diganth says that it is a pleasure to act in this film, which is jointly produced by KRG Studios and TVF.
