Kotee’ Out in Theatres Now

The much-anticipated Kannada film ‘Kotee’ is set to release today in over 200 theatres across the state. Additionally, there are multiple shows scheduled in Chennai and Hyderabad. The paid premiere shows held in Bengaluru, Mysore, and Shimoga over the last two days have received excellent responses, with all shows being housefull.

Dhananjay plays the role of ‘Kotee,’ an ordinary driver who aspires to earn one crore rupees through honest means without cheating or hurting anyone and wants to take good care of his family. ‘Kotee’ is a family entertainer that everyone can enjoy together.

At the celebrity premiere show held in Bengaluru on Wednesday, over six hundred TV and movie stars watched the film. Dhananjaya’s performance as the common man ‘Kotee’ received widespread acclaim. The movie’s climax became a hot topic among the audience even outside the theatre. A special star cameo in the film also garnered a tremendous response. ‘Kotee’ is set to release worldwide in the coming weeks, including in America, England, Europe, and the Gulf countries.

For the Kannada industry, which has not seen major successes in the first half of the year, “Kotee,” a story rooted in Kannada soil, offers a hopeful promise.

Alongside Daali Dhananjaya, Moksha Kushal will star as the lead actress and Ramesh Indira as antagonist. Other veteran actors like Rangayana Raghu, Thara Anooradha, Sardar Satya appear in prominent roles. The cast also includes Thanuja Venkatesh, Pruthvi Shamanur, Abhishek Shrikanth, Vijay Shobharaj Pavoor, and others.

The film features five songs, with music composed by Vasuki Vaibhav and lyrics written by Yogaraj Bhat and Vasuki Vaibhav. Nobin Paul, known for his work on ‘777 Charlie,’ has scored the background music. The film is edited by Pratheek Shetty, known for his work in ‘Kantara.’ The cinematography is by Arunbhrama, a well-known cinematographer in television.

Produced by Jio Studios and written and directed by Param, who has led Colors Kannada for decades, ‘Kotee’ is set to entertain audiences in over 200 theatres starting today.
