Our Sandalwood industry is making news for all good reasons in recent days. Stunt Master turned Director Ravi Varma first directorial Rustum kannada movie team has plans to release the movie in Hindi.
On the lines of KGF releasing all over India in multilanguages. While Bollywood Actor Vivek Oberoi debut in Kannada cinema and Ravi Varma’s Bollwood contacts would ensure the movie will be releasing in hindi with a wider market.
The director has brought on board south Indian actors popular for their villainous roles —Harish Uttaman, who has worked in Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu. Another Tamil director-turned-actor J Mahendran and debutant Arjun Gowda will face-off against Shivarajkumar in Rustum. All the three antagonists are debuting for the first time in Sandalwood and would get a terrific screen presence.
The Shivanna, Vivek Oberoi and Rohitt starrer apparently has more surprises in store. It is one of the most eagerly awaited movie this year.
The movie is bank rolled by Jayanna Combines. Actress Rachitha Ram is playing Vivek’s wife role and Mayuri plays Shivarajkumar’s sister in the film. Rustum has Shraddha Srinath playing the lead and also has big names of Bollywood’s popular actors in a pivotal role.
The team has already completed the major shoot, by November end last schedule of shoot to be completed and the post production work to begin from December. The film has music by Anoop Seelin and cinematography by Mahendra Simha.
