Towering at 7ft 2 inches, Sukhwinder Singh Grewal, also known as ‘Giant Zanjeer’ makes his Kannada Debut with ‘666 Operation Dream Theatre’ directed by Hemanth M Rao. After acting with Shah Rukh Khan in Jawan, and the most recent Bads Of Bollywood directed by Aryan Khan.
666 Operation Dream Theatre is leaving no stone unturned to mount the project on a huge scale with not just the massive sets but also the casting of the film.
Currently, in it’s second schedule, the shooting is going on in full swing. Speaking of the character, Hemanth M Rao said, ‘We needed a character that was menacing, Someone who made even the big screen feel small. Sukhi fit the character to a T. He is one of the gentlest people I’ve met on the sets which is quite the contrast to his gigantic personality. It wouldn’t be exaggerating when I say we had to increase the height of the set to accommodate his personality’, Signs off Hemanth.
Known to be set in the vintage era, the film has teased the audiences about it being a Spy Thriller on the lines of Dr. Rajkumar’s legendary roles in CID 999 Series, the team is currently wrapping up an action sequence featuring Sukhwinder Singh Grewal.
Speaking about his Debut Sukhwinder Singh Grewal says, ‘I’ve heard a lot about the South Film Industry, it is great to be a part of the Kannada film industry. Working in a project that has Dhananjaya and the legendary Dr. Shiva Rajkumar is an honour. I love being on the sets, the people here are very warm. I am looking forward to the reaction of the Kannada audience to my performance and wish to work on more projects.’ To the question how does he react to being the tallest on the sets, ‘I’m usually the tallest on any set, so I’m kind of used to the stares now’, he laughs.
‘The vibe on the sets, and more importantly the vibe of Bengaluru is something that I’ve enjoyed the most. I haven’t explored the city much, but the food is something that I’ve indulged in and is also the reason I’ve had to spend more time in the gym.
The film has already released the looks of Dr. Shiva Rajkumar and Dhananjaya earlier during the launch and the new look of Dhananjaya was launched on his birthday had the fans rejoice.
Produced by Dr.Vaishak J Gowda, under his banner Vaishak J Films and directed by Hemanth M Rao, his team of confidants Charan Raj and Advaitha Gurumurthy take over the roles of Music Director and Cinematographer respectively. Vishwas Kashyap joins the trio as the production designer.
666 Operation Dream Theatre with Dr. Shiva Rajkumar in a major appearance is going to be a treat to the audience. The film is being mounted on a big budget and has a big canvas with simultaneous release plans in Telugu and Kannada.
