The makers of the much-awaited epic Ramayana have officially announced that the film’s pan-world trailer will be released on July 24, marking the next milestone in one of Indian cinema’s most ambitious projects.
Ahead of the trailer launch, a grand event titled “Pratham Sankalp” was held in New Delhi to formally begin the film’s journey. Inspired by the Indian tradition of taking a sacred pledge before embarking on a significant mission, the event celebrated the timeless legacy of the Ramayana while presenting it on a global platform.

Lakhs of students participated in activities designed to introduce them to the values and teachings of the epic. Selected winners from the programme attended the “Pratham Sankalp” event, while fans and content creators across 20 major Indian cities will get an exclusive preview of the trailer ahead of its official worldwide release.
The initiative aims to present India’s rich cultural heritage to a global audience through the medium of cinema.
