In an era where modernization is diminishing the traditional grandeur of our villages, the film “Sambhavami Yuge Yuge” emerges with a message urging young people to stay in their villages and work there. Produced by Pratibha under the banner of Rajalakshmi Entertainment, this film, written and directed by Chetan Chandrashekhar Shetty, is set to release on June 21st.
The film’s cast, including Jay Shetty, Nisha Rajput, and Madhura Gowda, visited the royal city of Mysuru to promote the film and interact with the media. Speaking about his directorial venture, Chetan Chandrashekhar Shetty shared, “I have been in the film industry for the past ten years. This film, with its social content, is designed as a unique commercial concept that a family audience can enjoy together. It includes characters resembling Krishna and Arjuna. We have filmed around Mandya, Channapatna, Ramanagara, and Bengaluru. The teaser and songs have already gone viral, and we are preparing to release the trailer soon.”
Shetty further explained, “The story revolves around young villagers who, after becoming educated, move to towns for work and settle there. This raises the question of the future of our villages and how they will survive. The film emphasizes the importance of youths staying in their villages and contributing to their development. Although it’s a commercial film, it contains many elements that resonate with today’s generation.”
Lead actor Jay Shetty, who previously starred in the film “1975,” said, “This film, which focuses on agriculture and farmers, portrays a protagonist who wants to give back to his village. What happens next forms the crux of the story.”
Nisha Rajput, the lead actress, stated, “Though I am from Bijapur, I grew up in Mumbai. I always wanted to act in a Kannada film, and I play the role of Swati in this movie.” Madhura Gowda, who plays the hero’s sister, added, “It is my fortune to have acted as the daughter of Sudharani in this film.”
The film features music composed by Puran Shettigar and cinematography by Raju Hemmigepura. Other cast members, including Bal Rajavadi, Puneet, and Ashwin Hasan, were also present at the press conference and spoke about their roles.
