The powerful courtroom drama Janaki vs State of Kerala, starring Malayalam actor and Union Minister Suresh Gopi, is all set to stream on ZEE5 starting August 15, marking its grand OTT debut on Independence Day.

Directed by Chithagari and written by Praveen Narayanan, the film is produced by J Phaneendra Kumar, with Sethuraman Nair Kankol serving as co-producer. The film features Suresh Gopi as lawyer David Abel Donovan and Anupama Parameswaran in the lead role as Janaki. Supporting cast includes Divya Pillai, Shruti Ramachandran, Askar Ali, Madhav Suresh Gopi, and Baiju Santhosh.

The story revolves around Janaki, a woman whose life is turned upside down by a life-altering event. Her pursuit of justice and the legal battle that follows is at the heart of this emotionally gripping courtroom narrative. The film throws light on the intricacies of Kerala’s legal system while reflecting on deeper social realities.
