With a background in Journalism and Mass Communication from Dayananda Sagar University, A native of Ballari, Amrutha’s journey began through internships that grounded her in the media world. Her first brush with fame came as the host of Comedy Club, followed by her engaging presence on the reality show Gichi Gili Gili 2 on Colors Kannada, which became a springboard, showcasing her versatility and highlighting the power of reality TV as a launchpad for fresh talent.
Amrutha made her acting debut as the lead in the Kannada serial Gowri Purada Gayaligalu and later embraced a new challenge, playing a negative lead in Colors Kannada’s Bhagyalakshmi. She also appeared in the album song Oye Yeah Ladki, adding musical depth to her growing portfolio.
Her film career began with a cameo in Sri Balaji Studio, advancing to a substantial role as the second lead in Kathru Karma Kriya alongside Priyanka Upendra.
