Acclaimed director S. Ravindranath, known for his offbeat films Pushpaka Vimana and Monsoon Raaga, is back with a brand-new project titled Madness. This time, he joins hands with emerging talent Shivank, who steps into the lead role for the very first time.
Shivank, who previously portrayed a villain in Pushpaka Vimana and had a notable role in Monsoon Raaga, now takes center stage in what promises to be an intense action thriller. Madness marks his debut as a hero and signals a bold new chapter in his career.
Backed by Yatheendra B of Nidhi Films, Madness is shaping up to be a high-octane cinematic experience. The film pairs Shivank with actress Raviksha, while the musical score is helmed by Jared and Juda. Cinematography is being handled by Prajwal Gowda, and editing is led by Srinivas Kalal.
The production has already completed approximately 40% of filming, with key sequences shot in and around Bengaluru, Agumbe, and Kanakapura. The second phase of shooting is expected to kick off soon.
With an intriguing title and a fresh pairing, Madness is already generating buzz in Sandalwood circles, setting the stage for an exciting addition to Kannada cinema’s thriller genre.
