The film “Balan,The Boy”, produced by KVN, Directed by Manjummel Boys Fame, Chidambaram is set to be premiered at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival 2026
KVN is one of the leading production houses in South Indian cinema, Founded by Venkat K Narayana. KVN is also producer of Thalapathy Vijay’s latest film Jana Nayagan and Rocking Star Yash’s Toxic. Riding high on the success of its recent film KD, which has emerged as a super hit, KVN is now taking another significant step forward.
The production house has been actively producing films in Kannada, Telugu, and Tamil, and has recently expanded into the Malayalam film industry. As part of this expansion, KVN has produced the Malayalam film Balan The Boy, along with Thespian Films, which is now being taken to an international platform.
The film will be showcased at Cannes, widely regarded as one of the most prestigious film festivals in the world. Scheduled for the 14th of this month, the festival will host artists and filmmakers from across the globe.
Directed by Chidambaram, who previously helmed Manjummel Boys, Balan, The Boy marks another milestone for KVN as it reaches a global audience.
