The world has braved this pandemic with great grit and determination and as the team of Nimagondu Sihi Suddi kannada webseries head out, they say we are up to change the world and create a universe filled with humanity and compassion.
The name “Nimagondu Sihi Suddi” which roughly translates to “A Sweet News for you” in English. Nimagondu Sihi Suddi(NSS) is an eight episodic web series to be shot in and around Bangalore, backed by a budding vibrant team under the banner Gold Chain Productions.
Spearheaded by Debutant Sudhindra Nadigar R this project also introduces Raghu Bhat in a leading role, with Kavya Shetty of Istakamya fame playing his love interest. Anand Sundaresha of Urvi frame will be cranking the lens for this web series.
Speaking on his debut Direction in a webseries, Sudhindra Nadigar says, “Our writer Raghu Bhat is the brain behind this story. Audience have become smarter and expect different, interesting concepts. This story is eye catching and something that cannot be imagined. This is what makes the series interesting with rib tickling comedy.”
When asked, how pandemic has changed the thought process of directors on minimizing production cost and giving quality product. Director Sudhindra says, “Pre-planning is the key to reduce crew on set. Our priority has always been safety. Responsibilities on each crew member has doubled, to not compromise on quality. We are trying to analyse as many situations as possible to keep things ready which can reduce physical labour on set.”
Nimagondu Sihi Suddi a whole new concept
The lead actor and story writer, Raghu Bhat said, As an actor my primary job is to induce a physical and emotional state in the best possible way I can. Being a debutant my biggest challenge would be to make my mark and carve a niche for myself, and I beleive it is the right platform to showcase a blend of emotions, hence NSS.
Actress Kavya says, Personally, I think that being an actor gives you the best excuse to never stop learning or growing. There’s always a new role to prepare for, always new things to learn and try. NSS is a whole new concept and I loved the storyline from the word go!
The team also includes Jagadish Singh, Yogesh Nanjappa, Priyanka M R, Prakash SR, Anil Kumar, Akshobhya, Prashanth R and Manjunath Singh on the creative wing . “Sometimes your joy is the source of your smile and some times it’s the other way around. This Catchy, Super Fun sitcom NSS is a fun filled ride all the way,” the team says.
