Monster Hit in its second week, Yash starrer KGF is all set to go past Rs 150 crore mark at the worldwide box office. Also first Kannada movie to enter China market, after south hit Bahubali.

From the trailer, It was no doubt that this movie impact made one feel it will be the biggest Kannada film ever. While the movie was always expected to make money at the box office, chances of its Hindi version doing well seemed bleak because it was releasing alongside Shah Rukh Khan starrer Zero. But, as they say, content always prosper.

According to a news report, While Zero went on a downward spiral after its opening day, KGF gained momentum and despite opening low, the Yash starrer has so far collected Rs 19.05 crore from its Hindi box office. In its Kannada version, KGF has earned more than Rs 50 crore with a gross of Rs 68 crore.

The Telugu states have made Rs 8 crore and in Tamil Nadu, it has grossed Rs 5.10 crore. KGF is already the highest grossing Kannada movie in just 5 days of its release as it had it become the first film to go past Rs 100 crore at the worldwide box office.

The movie has held very well on its day 6 across the board and has made Rs 112.95 crore globally, with an overseas gross of around Rs 5 crore. The stronghold over the first week of its release and the acceptance from the general movie-watching audience, KGF is almost certain to be housefull in its second week.
