K P Srikanth

The cinema lovers are overjoyed to watch their favourite stars on big screen, as the government permit theaters to open from October 15. While the big budget movie makers and Salaga producer K P Srikanth is not ready to release with 50 percent theatre occupancy guidelines, as recovering crores spent on their movie would be difficult.

The Salaga movie producer K P Srikanth on Thursday, speaking to media says, he will not release the movie until government gives full permission for theater.

Well, we are upset that only 5 0 percent of the audience are allowed. Ours is a big budget cinema. If half the audience is allowed to watch the film, we will incur loss. For the movie Salga, we will release the movie once the full seating capacity is allowed, said K P Srikanth.

As previously, K P Srikanth had produced actor Shivarajkumar’s hit movie Tagaru, which had completed 100 successful days in theatre.

He added, We will have a meeting on Monday from the Active Producer Team, That team includes Robert, Kotigobba3, KGF and Yuvarathna’s filmmakers.

Everyone are going to sit together and make a decision. It is also a decision about which film should be released. But half of the audience is not enough for big budget films.

Once we have the full permission, we can release the film. Producer KP Srikanth says it is difficult for OTT platforms to fit in for big budget cinemas.
