Despite nation lockdown amid Corona virus fear, Sandalwood Actress Sharmiela Mandre was reportedly on a jolly ride and injured herself in the accident under Vasanthnagar bridge on Saturday.
Actress Sharmiela Mandre and her friend Lokesh are injured in an accident on wee hours in Vasanthnagar. Cops suspect duo were driving under some influence.
The incident took place around 3 Am, an unknown driver drove the car (Jaguar) KA51 MJ2481 in rash and negligent manner and had hit the railway underbridge damaging the front portion of the said car. The car is in the name of Dawn Thomas Pious and not in the actress or her frienda name.
As per Medical Legal Certificate received from Fortis hospital Cunningham Road the injured Lokesh Vasanth K, 35 years and Sharmila mandre, 33 year old are taking treatment at Fortis hospital as outpatients.
The cops have shifted the said car from the accident spot at Vasanthnagar underbridge. In this regard based on the report of night duty ASI Indrashetty, The highgrounds police have registered a case in Cr.No 17/2020 u/s 279, 337 IPC & 134 (B) MV act and taken up investigation.
The actress is currently producing and also acting in Gaalipata 2 movie sequel directed by Yograj Bhat and has a starcast of Goldenatar Ganesh, Pawan Kumar and Diganth Manchale.
